How Did You Get Started?
My Dad is a webdesigner and he started teaching me simple stuff with WordPress, but I had a template. Then I came across a site named
Iconator. I started making icons, avatars, and wallpapers for them, but I was doing it on Microsoft Word. Eventually I got tired of that and asked my dad if he could lend me his Photoshop CS3 disc, and there you have it. I learned Photoshop all by myself. I eventually ventured on to Freewebs, and learned HTML. I ventured around the internet after that, and now I finally have Kisses and Cake!
Why 'Kisses and Cake'?
Kisses and Cake is a song by John Powell. It's a really good song from PS: I love you! I really liked that movie, and the song is great, too. I've always wanted my site called Kisses and Cake. It seems to fit, very well.
Who helped?
For the most part, I've made this site all by myself. I learned HTML and CSS by myself. As for any other help, you can check
here. A lot of my friends and affiliates have helped me, too.
Why Do You Have a Site?
I've always been interested in computers, mostly because I've had one around since the day I was born. My dad has one because of his work, and I'm just always on the internet looking around. I figured I'd give it a try, because I had nothing to lose. Here we are, present day, and I'm still enjoying it. I didn't think I would, but now that I've made so many great friends and learned so much, it's grown on me. I know so much about computers from my dad already, that I've been helping teach technology class!
Who do you look up to?
Well, there are a lot of webdesigners that catch my eye. I love really unique layouts, but it's not my thing, either. It hard to find someone who can help you, but still be your friend, and actually have some skill. I look up to my dad (of course) and the webdesigner who has inspired me the most,
Gillian. They've both helped me so much, but I also look up to all my friends listed below.
